From here you can monitor multiple iDevices Connected products. Connected Dashboard Dashboard Screen A summary display of each connected device is shown on the Connected Dashboard. Tapping on a particular device brings you to it’s Device Dashboard. More Menu Tapping the More tab reveals various features for the app. Device Manager The Device Manager is where you can connect or disconnect from devices within range. Tapping the Device Manager icon or the device name pulls the Device Manager into view. Device Manager Devices There are two types of devices: those that are currently connected and those that are available for connection. Adding a Device To add a device, select an available device from the Device Manager. The device will then be connected and ask to pair with your smart device. Notifications When new devices are found, a notification will appear with the number of devices found. Quick Disconnect To quickly disconnect from a device, swipe left on the device and select Disconnect. The device will now be available for connection by you or another user within range. iGrill Compatability Connection The original iGrill uses Bluetooth technology that must be connected through the iOS settings. Please view the Connection Manual for iGrill, which is available in the User Manuals’ section. • Because of the nature of Bluetooth 2.0, only one iGrill unit can be connected at a time • If an iGrill is properly connected through the iOS bluetooth settings, it will appear in the device manager as available • Tapping an available iGrill unit will connect to it and be added to the dashboard • The OS will not ask the user to confirm a paring request since it has been connected through the iOS Bluetooth settings • Once connected, the user can use the iGrill like all other products in the connected app • If the user opens the iGrill app, it will break the connection in the Connected app • The iGrill and Connected app should not be used at the same time Device Dashboard The Device Dashboard provides a focused look at an individual device. It also provides access to options and controls for that device. Con- Device Dashboard Functionality of the options and controls is the same for all our products, making it simple to use multiple iDevices products. This manual uses iGrill mini as the example, but the features and screens displayed will be the same for all other iDevices products. This is the default Device Dashboard for iGrill 2 when 4 probes are in use. This is the default Device Dashboard for Kitchen Thermometer when 2 probes are in use. Con- Device Dashboard Probe Data The probe number, color indicator and name are located to the left of the temperature and can be edited quickly by tapping on it. Temperature The current temperature reading is the largest item and displayed in real-time to keep you updated. Tapping the temperature changes the view of the probe. Preset The preset name and target temperature are displayed under the current temperature and can be edited quickly by tapping on it. Graphing The graph allows you keep track of your cooking progess. The red dotted line shows you how far away you are from reaching your target temperature. Share Share what you’re cooking socially, via email or SMS. Edit View and modify your Probe and Preset Settings. More Menu Tapping the More tab brings up various features and options for the device. Con- Device Dashboard Multiple Views Tapping the temperature will allow you to cycle through the multiple views for that probe. (The available views are optimized for each product so for some products not all views will be offered.) Con- Device Dashboard Graphing Tapping the graph in the dashboard enlarges the graph to a full view. The graph can be scrolled to view data of longer cooking sessions. Tapping export will allow you to email your data. Con- Device Dashboard Landscape Graphing While in the full view of the graph, turning your device horizontally changes the graph into landscape mode. Edit Probe Edit the current settings for a particular probe including it’s name, color indicator, type and preset. Preset Settings Utilize peak preset to receive an alert once your food reaches the desired temperature. Select a preset from the provided list or create your own. Preset Settings Create New Preset To create a new preset, tap Create New under My Peak Presets. From here, you can name and set the temperature for your preset. Edit Preset Tap to the right of a preset from the Choose Preset page to edit the settings of that preset. Preset Settings Range Presets Utilize range presets to receive alerts when your temperature goes above or below your desired temperature range. Create your own custom range or select one from the provided list. Settings Battery This percentage tells you how much battery life is left on your device. Device Name Name your device to easily find it on the Connect Dashboard and the Device Manager. Temperature Units Change between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Temperature Alarm Choose from a list of tones for your alarm. You can also choose a song from your own iTunes Library. Firmware View your device’s firmware and update to the latest software, if available. Disconnect Disconnect from this device. Timers Utilize timers to receive alarms or reminders for any element of your cooking progress. Create new timers to save for future use. Turn timers on and off with the switch or tap to edit. Timers Create New Timer When creating a new timer, you are promoted to enter a name, set the desired time and select an alert from a list of tones. You can also choose a song from your own iTunes Library. Globe Use the Globe to checkout what other users from all over the world have shared.
