This upgrade is for users of any current Mobile Speak product including Mobile Speak, Mobile Speak Smartphone, or Mobile Speak Pocket. This bundle includes upgrades to both Mobile Speak 4 and Mobile Geo 2. New: Version 4 can now be registered to either your phone number or your device. This new version allows you to transfer your license between phones, including both Symbian and Windows Mobile phones with no additional charge, when using the phone number-based licensing method. You will have the ability to create custom profiles, including application-specific profiles. Symbian applications such as Fring and QuickOffice are now supported. Windows Mobile users will see enhanced support for Internet Explorer as well as support for Windows Mobile 6.5. New touchscreen phones including new models by Nokia and those for Windows Mobile are also supported in this release. If you wish to take advantage of the next generation of mobile phone technology, you need Mobile Speak 4.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What phones are compatible with Mobile Speak 4?
A: Mobile Speak 4 supports virtually all Symbian 9.X phones and Windows Mobile phones running version 5.0 or later including Pocket PC devices without a phone capability. In general, if your phone was released in the past 2-3 years, it should be supported. Version 4 also now supports several touchscreen phones including the HTC Touch Pro and Nokia N97.
Q: What is the difference between phone number-based and device-based licensing?
A: Version 4 includes a new phone number-based licensing system, allowing you to move your license between any supported phone for free. If you do not have phone service, or you change your phone number often, the device-based system allows you to license Mobile Speak for a single device. You would then need to pay a transfer fee if you wished to use a new device. You can

Q: I recently purchased a version of Mobile Speak. Can I get a free upgrade?
A: If you purchased any version of Mobile Speak or Mobile Geo on or after September 1, 2009, you are entitled to a free update to version 4. If you ordered from A T Guys, we will contact you shortly after version 4 is released.
Q: Will I be able to move my license between phones?
A: Yes. As long as your phone number is also transferred, you are allowed an unlimited amount of transfers between devices, including between Symbian and Windows Mobile phones. If you opt for the device-based licensing system, you will need to pay a license transfer fee to move your license to a new phone.
Q: If I had additional voices with my old license, will they transfer?
A:: Yes. Additional voices on the same license will transfer free of charge.
Q: Can I change the voice I am currently using when I upgrade?
A: The upgrade will carry over the voice or voices you have previously purchased. If you are using Acapela or Loquendo, you will be able to install up to three voices compared with one before. If you wish to install a new set of voices, you can still purchase an additional voice license.
Q: What if I have more than one license using the same username?
A: Your licenses will need to be separated, one for each phone number or device. We will help you with doing this.
Q: Will Wayfinder Access still work with Mobile Speak 4?
A: Yes. Wayfinder Access is not a Code Factory product and is not affected by this upgrade. It will continue to work with your phone.
Q: Will my Pocket PC device work with Mobile Speak 4?
A: Yes. If your Pocket PC has phone functionality, you can use the new phone-based licensing system.
If it is a PDA only device, without a built-in phone, use the device-based licensing system. Both are the same price.
Q: What if my device is not supported by Mobile Speak 4?
A: You can continue using your current version of Mobile Speak. Please note that updates will not be provided, however.
Q: What about Mobile Magnifier?
A: If you have purchased Mobile Magnifier as a stand-alone product, we recommend purchasing a new license, as the cost of a new license is less than the cost of the Mobile Speak upgrade.
