Product Features SoundPODS™ are designed to allow you to listen to music from your phone or Bluetooth® enabled computer or MP3 player. When connected to your phone using Bluetooth®, the SoundPOD will also act as a speakerphone. The SoundPOD delivers high-quality sound in a small form factor. Our engineers made speaker performance a top priority. You can hear and feel the difference in quality! Getting Familiar with SoundPODS™ SoundPODS™ are designed for simple, hassle-free operation. Below, you will find a description that will help you get acquainted with SoundPODS™ design and operation. Place the unit so that the speaker is facing up. On one side of the unit, You will find several buttons and controls. There is one switch on the speaker which feels like a small square. This switch has 3 positions. Pushing this switch all the way to the left activates the bluetooth mode. In the center position, the aux and SD modes are active. Off is to the far right position. To the right of this switch is the Multi-Function Wheel. This is a rocker switch and also a button. Pushing it to the left advances to the next track or turns the volume up. Pushing it to the right moves to the previous track or lowers the volume. Pressing this button activates several functions discussed below. Moving further around the speaker, you will find the mini USB/AUX plug. You can plug in the supplied cable to charge your speaker or connect it to a computer or other device with a headphone output. Past this is a rectangular slot for inserting a Micro SD card.Insert a card with the thinner end facing in and the lip facing up. The card will click into place if inserting it the correct way. Finally, you will find a LED indicator for visual status information. Bluetooth Pairing Instructions 1. Make certain your SoundPOD is in the "Off" position. 2. Switch the OFF toggle all the way to the left for Bluetooth. Upon activating Bluetooth, the LED light will flash to blue for a few seconds and then begin flashing blue and red. 3. Follow the operating instructions for your phone to allow your device to search for a new Bluetooth connection. 4. Select "soundPODS" on your Bluetooth device list on your phone and when asked, select ’'Yes" to confirm the connection. 5. If a PIN, Passkey, or Passcode is required, enter "0000." Operation Multi-Function Wheel: Short press to the left (toward the switch) skips to the next song. Long press increases volume. Does not work in Aux mode. Short press to the right (away from the switch) goes to previous song. Long press decreases volume. Does not work in Aux mode. Press the wheel in the center: in bluetooth mode: Answer and end a phone call when using it as a speaker phone Press the wheel in the center: MP3/SD Mode: Short press plays or pauses your music. Understanding the LED Indicator Green flash: Speaker is in SD/MP3 mode Green solid: SD/MP3 pause or indicates that the Aux cable is active. Blue flash: Indicates Bluetooth mode Red and blue alternating: Indicates pairing mode Red solid: indicates charging (turns off when fully charged) Red flash: Low battery indicator Specifications A built in TF Smart decoder allows you to insert a microSD card to play music directly from this storage format. Allows you to plug directly into any source with a 3.5mm stereo cable. Switch to Bluetoottf mode for wireless applications. Use your SoundPOD for speaker phone or for other audio. NOTE: When using the microSD card feature for playback, your music files must be in .mp3 format and must be saved directly to the root directory, not stored in folders.
