Versa Slate Paperless, Erasable Braille Slate & Stylus

For long notes I carry a Janus slate and a stack of lightweight vellum card stock in my bag everywhere but for quick notes or slate and stylus practice, I love this slate. It's a little easier than card stock and comfortable to hold. Saves a lot on paper when you just want to write throw away notes. The pins are really easy to read. The case has a nice feel and protects anything you write from accidentally getting reset. The price seems a little high but I don't regret this purchase at all and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
