What can I charge with the Power Bank

Most items which charge using a USB port can be charged using the power bank. This includes cell phones, headsets, keyboards, speakers and braille displays among many others.

How many devices can I charge at once?

The power bank includes two charging ports:

One USB Type A port. This is the larger, rectangular plug found on most charging cords.

One USB Type C port. This is a smaller rectangular plug used by many newer devices, including modern iPhone cables. It's slightly thicker than a lightning plug.

How would I charge an iPhone?

This depends on which iPhone you have. Newer iPhones come with a cable with a Lightning plug on one end and a USB-C plug on the other end. The USB-C end would plug into the power bank. Older iPhone cables have the Lightning plug on one end and a USB-A plug on the other end, which you would plug into the power bank.

How do I charge the power bank?

There are two ports which you can use to charge the power bank: USB-C and Micro USB. USB-C is the smaller rectangular plug found on newer devices. Micro USB has two bumps on one side of the plug. To charge the power bank, simply connect a cord from either the USB-C or the Micro USB port to a wall plug or computer. A cable with a USB Type C plug on both ends is included in the box, but you can use virtually any cable you may have from another device, or purchase an extra cable or wall plug from us.

How many times can I charge a device?

Put simply, this depends on the device you are charging. Generally speaking, you can divide the power of the power bank, such as 20,000mAh, by the capacity of your battery. So if your phone includes a 3,300 mAh battery, you will get roughly six full charges from the power bank. Naturally, if you charge two devices at once, you will need to charge the power bank more frequently.

This battery is an insomniac's dream

This battery is an insomniac's dream. I bought it for a variety of reasons, but largely because my iPad Mini gets electron-thirsty at 2 a.m. lots of nights, and if I get up to run a cable across the room, sleep is no more--not healthy or helpful.

This battery has some serious super-power intelligence inside that plastic case. I used the provided cable to initially charge the unit when I got it. (It was half charged when it landed in my mailbox.) Today, at 2 a.m., I used it for the first time to provide the electron elixir to my thirsty iPad Mini. That same port through which I charged it became the output port through which flowed the current my iPad needed to charge. That is some amazing engineering! The battery also seemed to know intuitively that I had an Apple product plugged into it. At no time while it engaged in its electron libation did the iPad complain about a "slow charger," as it does when I charge it wirelessly or in my car using CarPlay. The battery behaved apparently like an Apple-specific charger--blew me away with admiration. As I wrote above, there's some serious brilliance inside that plastic case I don't understand but that I benefit from immensely.

I bought it to quench the iPad's thirst, but I could have done that with any 20,000 mAh battery. My friends, it's all about that magic button on the side of the battery! Touch it, and you get instant feedback as to how full the battery is. That feature alone is worth twice what I paid, but if they who run this online retailer don't read this review, they'll never know that it's okay to charge me $200 next time I need one of these. Here's hoping they don't pay any attention. But even if they do, I'm standing behind my perspective that the battery is worth more than I paid.

If it has a weakness, it is the vibrator motor you can choose if you'd rather hear vibrations than beeps when you check charge levels. The motor in my battery at least is pretty anemic. I don't need something that leaps out of my hand when it vibrates and slides across whatever surface it's on, but the vibration in my unit at least is pretty sad—reminiscent of a bug trying to beat its way out of a closed jar.

Another accessibility plus is its ability to let you know when it is successfully connected either to your house current to charge or to your device to give that device power. Those beeps are wonderful and add much to the battery's value.

I received my battery two full days sooner than I was supposed to. Glorious victory; I'll take it! Also, the ordering process was ultra-easy with JAWS 2026. I had no problem providing credit card data, although some kind of PayPal-like one-touch checkout would have been excellent. Still, this was super easy and worked the first time I entered all that data.

In short, BUY THIS BATTERY! Your cranky book reader that screams about being low on energy at 2 a.m. will silently, agreeably, and seamlessly pull power from your snazzy, accessible, brilliant battery so you don't have to interrupt your nocturnal book extravaganzas.

This was a solid 10-star purchase in a five-star rating world.

These are great chargers. I got the special bundle. I use the 10000 mah for my phone and other devices, and the 20000 mah, I have a USB powered fan that I use on paratransit year-round (I run warm), and it works great.

Awesome Power Bank

This device makes charging all my electronics a breeze. It's an essential in my travel tool kit. It has a small footprint, so perfect for use in hotel rooms. The bank's charge lasts an insane amount of time!! There have been instances where I haven't used it for months, only to find that it still has a full charge. The vibrations are so intuitive, and I appreciate that they're subtle and don't annoy others. If you travel for work or play, and want to be absolutely sure your phone, DAISY player, or braille display has a full charge and is ready to go, don't pass this up! Worth every cent and then some!

This is a great product. I find myself using it for convenience when I don't feel like crawling under tables or behind furniture to find an ac outlet. The fact it is blind-friendly out of the box is a real plus. I could have used it several times in the month prior to when I finally purchased it.
